Texas Women’s Health Program

The Texas Women’s Health Program provides family planning services and annual exams at no cost to eligible, low-income women ages 18-44. Services include: one family planning exam each year, family planning counseling and education, treatment of certain sexually transmitted diseases, birth control (not including emergency birth control), methods to permanently prevent pregnancy, and follow-up family planning visits. Family planning exams may include: pap tests and screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer, diabetes, sexually-transmitted infections, and high blood pressure.
