More data indicators added to Waco RoundTable

By Emily Hunt-Hinojosa

We are working hard to increase our community’s capacity to access and utilize Waco-relevant statistics through our community data portal, Waco RoundTable. Want to know more about Waco? These new indicators were added to Waco RoundTable, our community data portal, in October:

  • Limited access to healthy foods,

  • Teen birth rate,

  • Frequent mental distress,

  • Housing overcrowding,

  • Prenatal care,

  • 8th Grade math scores,

  • Arts employment,

  • Violent crime, and

  • Binge drinking.

Additionally, we are excited to introduce our new disaggregation toolbar on RoundTable. This allows users to explore community data by various racial/ethnic categories. Our data and research team has been working hard to implement the Waco RoundTable project by the end of 2020.

Need data? Want to understand our community? Explore more than 150 community statistics related to health, education, and financial security on WacoRoundTable.org. Visualize data on our map of the Waco-McLennan County Region across various geographies of interest, and download charts and maps related to any of our statistics.
