Graduating students reminded to pursue college process; MAC can help

COVID-19 has jolted people’s plans, especially for graduating high school students. While the future is certain, students who plan to attend college in the fall should continue working to that end and the MAC Program is available to help.

“For many students, their lives have been upended, and so college and financial aid are likely the last thing on their mind,” said Roland Rodriguez, senior MAC and scholarship coordinator. “While we don’t know what is going to happen in the few weeks or even months, we need to remind students to move forward and make plans where possible to make sure they are ready after graduation.”

Maria Arevalo and Roland are available to support students through phone calls, texts, emails, social media, and online Zoom meetings. “If students have questions or need help with financial aid, scholarships and college applications, please feel free to connect them with us.”

Maria and Roland are your resource just as much as we are for students. If you need anything from Maria or Roland, please do not hesitate to reach out.
