As the summer wraps up, UpSkill Waco will host two training courses with McLennan Community College, Texas State Technical College, and Heart of Texas Goodwill this month.
We’re excited to have enrolled 10 students in the Construction/Manufacturing Core training with TSTC that starts Aug 9 at the Dewey Community Center. We are also still recruiting for the Hospitality Fundamentals course with MCC and Hotel Indigo. This course will start Aug. 30 and take place at City Center downtown.
It’s been a whirlwind of a summer reaching out to organizations and community groups about UpSkill Waco training opportunities, but it has been great to meet with so many groups passionate about workforce development. We’re definitely looking forward to attending some of the back to school events and connecting with potential UpSkill Waco participants.
