Over the past year, Makenna Zielske served with Prosper Waco as an AmeriCorps VISTA, helping to propel our efforts to fight food insecurity in the Waco community. Her thoughtful contributions to survey design and implementation deepened our understanding of local needs and strengthened the work of the Hunger Free Community Coalition.

We're thrilled to share that Makenna recently published an article based on that work! Her commitment to community-driven research made a lasting impact, and we’re so proud of what she’s accomplished.
